1.HOW YOU HAVE STARTED YOUR JOURNEY , AS AN ENTREPRENEUR ?

I started my journey as an entrepreneur in 2010 during my graduation. My first venture was an advertisement company that i started with an investment of Rs. 10,000 from my own savings. This advertisement company achieved a turnover of 65 lakhs and an employee base of 5 people in 2012. I didn’t took any external funding for this venture.In July 2013, when i came to know about this Green Wall concept, it was then I was determined to bring these new ‘Green’ heights to Indian architectural scenario. I started my research in July 2013 on the materials and technicalities of the product and the system. I wanted to have a cutting edge for my brand which i got, when I came to know about the flora felt material.

2.BRIEF US ON THE GROWTH STRATEGY AND FRANCHISE EXPANSION OF BRAND.

For growth, our strategy is to open retail franchise outlets of Life Wall. For this our team is committed to give full support to our franchise partners in all aspects. Life Wall is the first company in India to start its retail franchise outlets.

3.HOW HAS BEEN THE BRAND’S JOURNEY SO FAR?

Brand came into the market in January 2014, since then our marketing strategy is internet marketing and we are also getting good business from architects and interior designers. We always have an advantage over our competitors because of the florafelt planters which we use.

4.WHAT IS THE SPECIALTY OF BRAND services?

Our team is committed to give excellent services to our clients because we know that after sales service play a big role in
defining brand’s success and creating a goodwill in the market. Once we complete a specific project we don’t leave our client alone. We keep monitoring the site for one week, when it is completed.

5.WHAT ARE THE COMPANY’S FUTURE PLANS?

Company’s future plans are to appoint and start master franchisee by next year and open mega showrooms of the brand.
We are also coming up with a wide range of new and innovative greenery products that will beat all decor elements in the market.

6.HOW MANY DO OUTLETS YOU HAVE AS OF KNOW AND WHERE YOU SEE YOUR BRAND IN NEXT 5 YEARS ?

We are running Life Wall without any retail outlet. But we have done a good business till now without any aggressive marketing and we have mainly focused on the research and development of the materials and technique of making a product which is maintenance free, durable and quite appealing.

7.WHAT ARE THE STRATEGIES THAT YOUR BRAND ADOPTED?

(i) Excellent quality of materials like Drip Irrigation, Plants, Plant Nutrients, florafelt planters with a life of 300 years, water proof WPC boards.
(ii) Installation technique.
(iii) Service.

All these points are sufficient for satisfying customers and making them happy, and I believe if people are happy their is no need of any strategy, revenues and profits follow automatically.

8.WHAT ARE THE QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT YOU SEEK FOR IN YOUR FRANCHISEES? HOW MUCH INVESTMENT IS REQUIRED BY ASPIRING FRANCHISEES?

No professional course or degree is required for franchisee aspirants. They just need to be trained and guided for initial few days. After that we are always there for all kind of support whenever they need.
For an outlet of 200 sqft. franchisees will have to invest Rs. 18 – 20 Lakhs.

9.SHARE WITH US THE CHALLENGES THAT CAN BE FACED BY YOUR FRANCHISEES? HOW CAN THESE BE OVERCOME?

Franchisees might have problems in executing bigger projects in initial stage by themselves, but no problems, Life Wall will send its technicians to execute and complete the project.

We have build the whole concept this way that, their won’t be any challenges in operating the business.

10.KINDLY SHARE THE ORIGIN AND CONCEPT OF ‘BRAND’?

When I came to know about this concept, i was determined to bring this thing into the market as i saw a great potential in this space. As the cities are converting into concrete jungle, more and more people are getting short of spaces at their homes. Say for people living in apartments, don’t have any option for greenery other than few pots. But with this concept they can have a fully green vertical garden at their balcony’s walls.

In India there are certain people who are doing this business on a good scale, but their is nothing like a brand for this concept, it is not been done in a retail format till now.

This is a concept of future, it has unlimited potential, sky is the limit!!!

11.TELL US ABOUT THE BRAND’S PRODUCT PORTFOLIO? WHAT IS THE TARGETED CLIENTELE?

We are into vertical gardens, but we are aggressively planning to start manufacturing modular and free standing green walls, plants covered center tables, lamps, green curtains, green strings, etc.

Presently, we will be providing complete kits of the green wall system to the franchisees for reselling at their outlets along with the instruction manual of installation and maintenance with each kit. Kits will come in different sizes and will be sold according to the requirements of the customers.

Products like this don’t come cheap, but we have tried to structure our product range in such a way that it suits the budget of maximum buyers. For example, our vertical gardens price range varies according to the budget of the customer.

12.WHAT ARE YOUR FURTHER EXPANSION PLANS? HOW LUCRATIVE IS THE FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITY OFFERED BY YOU FOR THE PROSPECTIVE INVESTOR?

Once we are on with few outlets, we have also planned to adopt e-commerce route. In this thing all the business generated online, will be transferred to the franchisees zone wise.

If franchisees are able to do tie ups with reputed builders and architects of their area, they will give continuous business to them. However our products are so attractive and appealing and are of reasonable prices, that if any customer will enter the outlet he/she will surely want to purchase them.
